VoWLAN is coming Well, a number of computer users can already do this, albeit in a pretty
complicated way, but everythings is going to change. This year we'll see

systems become available. VoWLAN is Voice over Wireless Local Area Network
and will enable you to use your voice messenging services without the need
for your computer.

Clear views Want something funky for your fish tank neon lit computer? Why not
a clear-top drive?! Western Digital have just released the WD Raptor X
which has a see-through top so that you can see the drive working! 150GB,
16MB cache, 10,000 RPM. Now that the technology is there to create clear
vacuum sealed, sturdy drives, we may see more of them on the market. My
only concern is that this is just going to add to the stress if something
isn't working. "Oh no, the arm's not moving. Maybe something's wrong. Oh,
there it goes. Oh no, it's stopped again..."
Samsung 4 ms refresh Samsung have recently released their 4 millisecond refresh rate LCD
monitor. Twisted Nematic 730BF. Now that monitors are 4ms, we should be
able to watch movies on them without any problems, hopefully!
