About the Japanese language and translation The Japanese language consists of a combination of mainly 4 different
alphabets.
Japanese and Chinese languages are very different even though they use some of the same characters. While some words are spelt similarly in both languages, a lot of the characters have different meanings. Hiragana characters are unique to Japanese language and culture Katakana characters, also unique to Japanese language, represent any foreign words that enter the language, mostly English words. So when a new English word or name does not have an equivalent in Japanese, the new word is translated into Katakana. Romanji is the approximate sound of Japanese words using the Roman alphabet. A separate translation into Romanji can be performed if you would like to know what the translation sounds like, or you would want to be able to read it to someone. This is an additional cost. If you plan to read the Romanji translation aloud, we recommend you get some tutoring on how to pronounce the Japanese vowels and syllables. (E.G. 'o' sounds like the o in rock) All Japanese people read a combination of the first three alphabets. Romanji is only used for foreigners to help them to understand Japanese. "Study English online with your computer" may be translated using all 4 alphabets. If you would like your English language text translated into Japanese, contact us today and we can give you a quote. The minimum price is $19.95 for up to 10 words*. Click here for more price information. *Please note that this service does not include translation of names. Name translation is a lot more difficult and takes a lot more time. Why? We need to source the correct Kanji that is closest to the syllables of your name, then check to make sure that the meaning is a nice one when these characters are combined. Names take a lot more time. At the moment our special is $49.95 for a first name and surname translation. We do not recommend using translations as tattoos and don't take responsibility for any problems that may arise. Contact Electronic Desktop Solutions today:

We can redesign the page depending on the language and culture that you wish to market to, as well as suggest appropriate changes to your campaign. We look forward to hearing from you. |
